"When I was offered a summer internship position at Pfizer, I
was ecstatic. Pfizer is a place where I would love to work after
graduation, so I was excited being accepted into their summer internship
program. As a B.S. chemistry major, I was hired to work in CVMD
Chemistry doing organic synthesis. My supervisor and the associates I
worked with in the lab exceeded my expectations. They were the most
welcoming, kind, and inspirational people I have ever worked with. The
project I was given was intriguing and challenging but very fun. The
atmosphere at Pfizer is like nothing I've ever experienced; there are so
many hardworking but fun-loving people who really, truly care about the
work they do. My experience here this summer has convinced me that Pfizer
is a place where I would love to establish my career. I cannot wait to
come back!"
"The summer at Pfizer was more than I could have ever hoped for.
From the first day all of the employees were extremely nice, warm, and
welcoming to me. My boss gave me great opportunities to travel to various
Pfizer locations, meet with leaders doing what I want to eventually do, and
to develop professionally. This summer was the best in my entire life and
it is all because of what Pfizer allowed me to do."
"My internship experience was great. I loved my research and my
supervisor and lab colleagues treated me like a "colleague". I learned a
lot of new techniques from a lot of different people who were always willing
to teach and show me something new. I made a passing remark to someone that
I did not see a role for people in my field in industry and I was immediately
connected to about 5 people who were ready to link me up with more people. It
became this web of enlightenment and I am glad I was here this summer. Even
outside of Pfizer, people were committed to making sure I had a good time and
that I got acclimatized to Groton easily. Granted, I came here at a time when a
lot of transition is taking place at Pfizer, and underneath the concern and
perhaps anxiety that I sense from people, I still see that people are dedicated
to what they do and still have the drive to work towards more. I am honored that
I had this experience to be a part of Pfizer for the 3 months I spent here."
